Lynx journey to St-Antoine an eventful one

Well, seeing as how no one had ever been to St-Antoine before, the park came to the Lynx as a shock.  The field was the smallest that the Lynx have played in by far this year.  The distances were not marked, but it was much smaller than anything they had seen.  The field was in very poor shape, and was almost dangerous to play on.

To the game now, the starting pitcher was Bobby Lewis, who pitched two strong innings, but gave up a hit.  The Lynx no hit bid was ended early.  Jason Doucet pitched the last 3 innings of the shortened game, striking out 8 of 9 batters.

The Lynx vaulted themselves out to an early lead in the first inning, by scoring 10 runs.  It was all Lynx from there on in.

The game ended up being 13-0 for the Lynx, as not much else happened.

But something of note here, in one of the innings, the Lynx had the bases full, no outs, and Nick Trainor, Ben Zoldan, and Anthony DiMambro coming up to the plate.   The three big power hitters on the team.  The funny thing was that the Lynx were unable to score a single run.  I guess the pressure go to them.
