Lynx do good.
The Lynx came out at St-Jerome firing on all cylinders, and even when they attempted to calm down their own offense, it didn't seem to work.
The Lynx took this one by a score of 15-3, to push their record to 24-4.
Starting pitcher Bobby Lewis pitched a gem as his nasty curve ball seemed to baffle the left handed St-Jerome hitters for the whole game.
Leading off the home half of the inning, Adam Ferguson got some redemption against St-Jerome. As we all know, the Rhinestone Cowboy took Ferguson out of Loyola for a grand slam, to hand the Lynx their first defeat of the season. Well, this time, it was Ferguson's turn. He took Cowboy out to right field off of the Rhinestone Cowboy for the ultimate payback. It was all Lynx from there on.
By the sixth inning, Coach Fergy was basically just trying out people at different places on the field. ie: Brock Bradley playing in right field, and Adam O'Brien Locke playing short. O'Brien Locke will be aiming to play every single position for the Lynx this season, but coach Fergy assured him that he will play all 9, except he will do it in the same game. The exact game has not been decided on yet.
The game was taken very lackadaisically by the Lynx, and it even showcased a coaching change in the bottom of the sixth. When Coach Fergy went to the plate to make a lineup change, Adam O'Brien Locke deftly jumped onto the field and into the coaching box. Coach Fergy accepted this with open arms, and took a seat on the bench. To this Anthony DiMambro told coach Fergy, "It's okay Fergy, we can bring you back in on the re-entry rule". Ah, Tony is so full of baloney. Coach Locke gave batter Ben Zoldan the bunt sign. Zoldan chose to disobey the coaches orders and strike out swinging. Maybe he should have listened to the coach....
There was surely more interesting things in this game, but they obviously don't merit to be put up on this page.
