Second verse, worse than the first.
The second game of the doubleheader was much worse than the first one.
Lets count, 6 home runs were hit in this game. 6!
But as usual, the pitching comes first. Ben Zoldan pitched a perfect first two innings, with long breaks in between them while the Lynx hit. Zan Symonds finished off the game masterfully to complete the no hitter. That's the 3rd time this year that the Lynx have no-hit St-Antoine, and were it not for Bobby Lewis, this number would have been 4.
But the hitting. Well, not scoring recap here. Ben Zoldan hit 2 homeruns, and nice ones at that. Brock Bradley dinged a shot to left center, Bobby Lewis hit a grand slam of his own, and Nick Trainor hit two monster homers, one for a grand slam. Trainor's two homers were no doubters, as they travelled a combined million feet.
