Lynx season winding down with some good ball

The Lynx are taking the end of the season in a very lackadasical way, and it's paying off in dividends.  The Lynx took the first game of the doubleheader against Terrebonne-Mascouche by a score of 7-5.

Zan Symonds started the game, and pitched very well, but he gave up 5 runs, while the Lynx matched it with 5 runs of their own.  When he was removed for Anthony DiMambro, the score was tied.  The Lynx promptly punched in 2 runs of their own, to get the victory.

That's all that should really be known about this game.  It was interesting at times, but now a nail biter as the score might indicate.

One interesting fact, was that Coach Bobby Ferguson gave up his spot as head coach for the start of the game to player Adam O'Brien Locke.  O'Brien Locke did a fine job at third, but the players weren't able to execute the plays that he wanted.

Go to the second game.
