Lynx come out flat
The Lynx came out flat in this game, with the notion that they are the better team and they can win without even trying, but this backfired.
The starting pitcher was Anthony DiMambro, and he struggled early, giving up 5 runs in two innings. But the Lynx mentality didn't help him one bit. Brad Thomas came into the game for DiMambro and left when the score was 6-4 in the bottom of the sixth. Adam Ferguson and the Lynx lackadasical play was of no help to him as he gave up 4 runs with the final score being 10-4, for Sherbrooke.
But the Lynx are now not afraid of any team in this league. They know that when they put their minds to it, they can beat any team that they are up against. Some people may chalk this up to cockiness, but it's really a state of total self confidence.
As usual, the Lynx were getting screwed by the umps, but this time it started early and went on for the whole game. It's hard for a team to win a game, when you don't get a single call.
